For nearly 25 years, Brian Mahan has helped countless people from all walks of life. He worked as an empath for years in New York City, taking on people's pain in order to relieve them of it. He has facilitated hundreds through an intensive detoxification and cleansing process. He has studied 9 techniques of massage, teaches Fijian massage, teaches meditation, and holds workshops and residential retreats focusing on re-awakening embodiment through healing stress and trauma.
Brian has had the good fortune to have maintained a thriving private practice and to have worked in some of the most prestigious spas, private gyms, and hotels, including The Grand Wailea Resort and Spa in Maui and The Peninsula Hotel and Spa in Beverly Hills, as well as, with Martha Graham and Merce Cunningham dancers in New York City.
Following a catastrophic automobile accident, he began suffering from P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). After working with a trauma specialist, his life and world shifted so dramatically and quickly, he decided to train in the same technique. After completing a three-year training program studying Somatic Experiencing, the work of Dr. Peter Levine, Brian's passion for healing and personal transformation has shifted to working with developmental and shock traumas.
